At this year’s Dies academicus of the University of Konstanz, Menna El-Assady was awarded with the University Counsil’s prize for her own community involvement as well as the work of the group b-welcome. As Menna is also actively engaged in Café Mondial and furthermore because b-welcome are our dear student friends, we were also thought of in the video, which was shot for the award presentation ceremony.
In this video, Menna also says some clever things that we would like to underline:
„You have to get to know the people yourself, you must not simply push all of them in one and the same group. There are no good and bad refugees, everyone has just his or her own story.“
